The free dropAdrop app from OCL Vision functions as a reminder tool for administering eye drops after surgery or for ongoing conditions. The app accommodates patients who had surgery at OCL as well as those treated elsewhere.

• For OCL patients, the app provides procedure-specific drops and schedules based on the treatment type. It presents the relevant information for each procedure and uses push notifications to remind patients to use their eye drops.

• For patients treated elsewhere, where protocols vary by hospital and surgeon, the app allows users to enter their prescribed drops, frequency, and duration. It stores the regime and sends reminder notifications accordingly. The same approach applies to patients with regular eye conditions.

• The drop regime can be edited if the treatment changes or re-entered if needed.
